Going to Zossen or the Capitulation of Vasily Mikhailovich launched last month and was given an unbeatable reception in the UNESCO city of literature, and my hometown, Dublin.
To commemorate a month of the novel bouncing around bookstore shelves and Amazon lists, I’m sharing some of the photographs from the momentous occasion, a night when lights were dimmed, shutters drawn and Merlot bottles leisurely consumed in celebration of a seven-year drudging effort coming to fruition.
Thank you to everyone who supported this project and was there to see it fly off into the public domain, where I shall lose control of its fate once and for all. And thank you Jon Lambert Photography for capturing the magic and mystery of this beautiful evening.
